Through the YMCA Youth Sports Program, kids learn the skills they need to achieve. More importantly, they learn teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship, they make new friends and they have fun! 

 

Basketball (Ages 3 to 15)
At the Y, our sports staff, coaches and volunteers all share a singular vision of helping all youth reach their full potential in life. We leverage the excitement and passion around recreational programming to create a healthy outlet for children to gain new skills, develop a sense of team and connect with positive role models. Soccer/Fusal (Ages 3 to 12)
Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that is played across the world and is officially recognized by both FIFA and UEFA. Futsal places a large emphasis on technical skills in high-pressure situations which can be translated into the outdoor game. The sport is a great skill developer as it demands quick reflexes, fast-thinking, and pin-point passing. This is great for players looking to refine their technique and focus on ball control and working on strategies to out-play and out-think the opposition. 

Ballet (Ages 3 to 12) 
In this playful and creative ballet class, students learn basic ballet positions, balances, port-de-bras, barre work, across the floor, and short combinations. A reinforced ballet vocabulary is also emphasized to all students involved in classical ballet training.  Click here to register

Kids Fit (Ages 3 to 9)
Fit Kids, a strength and agility class designed to help your child build their sporting abilities. This class will focus on the skills needed by many different sports including sprints, hand and eye coordination, and more! There's no better way to make sure your child's skills are kept sharp. Youth Boxing (Ages 3 to 15)
In this program designed for youth, participants will be introduced to the skills and fitness regime to help them learn how to box. Students will work directly with an experienced coach and learn balance, foot work, defensive, and offensive skills. 

Volleyball (Ages 6 to 9)
Youth volleyball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. In this class, youth will learn the fundamental skills necessary to play including game rules, serving, passing, returning volleys and spiking.Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques.
