WELCOME TO New Rochelle YMCA SUMMER CAMP
Summer is almost here....time for kids to get back to playing, laughing together, and exploring. You remember summer, there’s something about summer camp memories that stick with us forever. The friendships we make, the skills we learn, the trips that we go on, and the confidence we build last long after the summer ends.
The New Rochelle YMCA Summer Camps have provided children in our community a camp experience they never forget. Our camps offer a variety of experiences for children of all ages and abilities, with each camp offering safe and supervised fun provided by a caring, responsible staff.
Each child gains something different at camp: making new friends, self-confidence, independence, and leadership—skills that last far beyond camp. Whether it’s your child’s first camp experience through Camp Mini, the traditional summer camp fun at Camp NRYMCA, or an action-packed summer with sports camp, swimming, theatre workshops, trips each of our camps provide an environment where campers are encouraged to grow, have fun, be creative and make those memories that will last a lifetime.
Days will be filled with friendship, learning and FUN! Our program is designed to enrich each child's:
- Mind... by exposure to Science, Math, and Reading
- Body... by exploring Health and Wellness
- Spirit... by growing an appreciation of Arts and Music
Everyday our campers will have experiences that reflect the YMCA's commitment to:
- Youth Development
- Healthy Living
- Social Responsibility
They will learn to understand and live our four core valuse of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
At NRYMCA, kids will always have a safe environment, positive role models, and will build memories to last a lifetime!
Frequently Asked Questions
During the 2020 season, the New Rochelle YMCA carefully followed all New York State guidelines per COVID-19 exposure during summer camp sessions. We are continue to follow these guidelines in order to ensure the safety of our campers and staff. All campers and staff are screened first thing at arrival and monitored throughout the day. Camp sessions are limited to "pods" and all staff and campers are required to wear masks throughout the day. In addition, our facility is sanitized throughout the day by our staff including high touch areas (ie. door knobs, railings) and equipment (basketballs, mats, etc.).
